Drew, as his mama and daddy always called him, is an artist and illustrator. He lives and works in Greenpoint Brooklyn.
He grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, in a town named after American pioneer Daniel Boone. When he left home for college, he chose the Maryland Institute, College of Art, where he received his BFA in Painting, because it had prettier girls than the other school he visited.
It was on a new year’s day that he decided to leave Baltimore and move to New York; a move that has, for better or worse, proved to be a good decision so far.
